2020 Resolutions that an entrepreneur should have

NEVER IS TOO LATE TO SET RESOLUTIONS!

2020 for some, is the beginning of a new decade, for others just the end of it. For us, it is a unique opportunity to bring you the possibility to make your business grow. Like the times, the energy flow quickly, and it is a matter of you, jump up the train or being just a spectator.

We sincerely believe that you don’t need a date or wait for another lap; to start work on your least treat parts. We did it for our business. In the last month of the year, we turned a few reports and sincerely used our time to watch over the mistakes, misunderstandings and to plan the first months of the year. A company is like a family; and needs time to do a review of the sections that compound the big gear, which makes your business walk month by month actively and security. Once you have everything settled down, as we did, you need to think in the next step. How much do you usually plan your month? Do you have an agenda and attend each event? Do you believe in to expand your limits?

1- Plan your time

Time is money, your time means money, but the time of your employees is money too. Plan the meetings, calls, and requirements to save time for everyone.

2- Plan your finances

If you are the only owner of your business, you should know how crucial it is to be aware of the income and outcome; anyone has a business to lose money. If you need to do and investment, don’t be afraid, sometimes you lose more trying to understand “how it works?” that you could expend in an expert in the area.

3- Do back up of everything

Your files are gold. If you have a vast database of names, emails, a previous shop, it will be easier to find loyal clients. If you had a fantastic secretary that leaves you because she or he moves on, don’t lose all the advance that the employee did, save it. The knowledge is money, too.

4- Know better your goals

This point is pretty easy if you don’t know where you are going, the way will be longer. Keep always the goal at the top of your daily reminders. You are the leader, guide all the team in the same north.

5- Grow the loyalty, both employees and your customers

Loyal clients and employees will be the best organic marketing that you can have. Make a little investment for those who keep your company alive, and they will keep doing their job with the best of the intentions.

6- Trust in your instincts

You are the bravest; we are proud of you if you have your own business running. If you are having second thoughts, take your time but never mistrust your abilities, effort, and mind; you are developing your brand, day by day. Pat yourself in the back.

7- Free some time for yourself

Enjoy what you are achieving as an entrepreneur. Use your time, as you wish, part of being an entrepreneur is the feeling of being free to enjoy your life and work for life, not living only to work.

8- Dare yourself to do something new

The new things can make you change your view. If you are struggling with the reach of your business, products or brand, it is because you did not try something new in a long time, try different things until you make it.

9- Learn to release and ask for help

You can’t wear all the hats, and you can do a lot but not everything. Part of growing and having success is delegate tasks, find people that you can trust to make the gear moving; so, chill a bit, find a VA to help you with the workload, avoid burnout.

10- Take care of your health and future

As a boss, you may look tough, but you need to look after you too. Now you are healthy and young, but I’ll pass, and you need to start from now to plan your retirement and save a bit for emergencies.
