What NOT to do to survive the COVID-19 pandemic

Updated: Mar 22

We covered the disease in the past two posts; and what to do in order to protect ourselves. But what shouldn’t we do?

The following measures ARE NOT effective against COVID-2019 and can be harmful:

  • Smoking

  • Wearing multiple masks

  • Taking antibiotics

  • Traveling

  • Shaking hands

  • Not washing your hands

  • Not covering your mouth and nose when sneezing or coughing

  • Spitting in public

  • Eating uncooked food

  • Staying in crowded spaces

  • Having parties or reunions of more than 5 people.

  • Touching your face or the front of the protective mask after putting it on.

  • Reusing disposable masks

In any case, if you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing seek medical care early.

And now, what to do to avoid your business failure? Like a sickness, failing constantly at entrepreneurship can be a kind of symptom that you are doing something wrong.

  • Your business strategy is a mess. Plan and organize can be the master key to have success.

  • Lack of record, it doesn’t matter if a marketing strategy worked or don't, write it down, don’t let all the work to the memory. If you made a mistake, better remember it as it happened.

  • Don’t take a look at the competitors. Even though you are original, and you have an amazing product; you need to be connected to the world. Analyze your rivals and then look at your own technique.

  • You stayed safe and never took any risk. To grow you’ll take some risk, but most important at all is, you need to measure the possible damages and what you will obtain from the investment.

  • Never try something different. Creativity is the main tool that you’ll need to keep your business on the road, there is no other path to overcome the obstacles that use your mind and imagination to develop a new way to see and treat the business issues.

  • Are you having trouble keeping focus? Sometimes, you have a constant brainstorm in your mind, and that’s cool, but you need to take one thing on the time, to get everything done.
